Dealer’s duty to inform

As a dealer, you are required to inform your customer of the special characteristics of SSR tyres when changing over to SSR tyres:

• SSR tyres may only be fitted on vehicles equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system.
• In the event of complete air-pressure loss, SSR tyres permit continued driving in an appropriate manner (no hectic driving manoeuvres) at a maximum speed of 50 miles per hour for up to 50 miles.

The driver must also be given:

• the SSR manual
• an SSR sticker for the vehicle cockpit.
